Derby’s hotel portfolio continues to improve, with the brand new Jurys Inn the latest addition.
The 213-bedroom hotel, which opened on June 19th, has five conference rooms and aims to become a valuable partner to businesses working in the city centre.
Jurys Inn’s commitment to the city was underlined when the hotel operator was unveiled as Derby County Football Club's new sponsor for the 2009-2010 season. The sponsorship is part of the hotel’s community partnership programme, which will focus on developing partnerships with local charities and businesses to support Derby.
General Manager of Jurys Inn Derby, Rachel Strange said: "We’re very excited to be welcoming the first guests to Jurys Inn Derby today. We have a great team of staff on board and are very proud that most of them are local Derby people.
"We are all committed to offering the award-winning welcome which Jurys Inns is known for and hope the hotel will become a central part of the Derby community.
