Derby’s annual Property and Business Investment Show was a huge success. Over five hundred delegates flocked to the event, held in May 2009, despite the economic downturn, and were treated to a day of well-received seminars and useful exhibitions.
Literature from the event, including the official show guide, can now be downloaded from the Business Shows Group website.
Chairman of the Business Shows Group responsible for the event, Martin Freeman, told Perspective: "The event was a huge success. There was a very good turn out. Given the economic climate, I think quite a few people were surprised by how many people turned up and how many deals and opportunities came out of it."
The event is used as a follow-up to MIPIM and to ensure that Derby remains on investors’ minds after memories of sun-drenched conversations in Cannes have faded.
Bookings are already being taken for next year’s Property and Business Investment Show in Derby, though Freeman's attention is now focused on the East Midlands Property and Investment show taking place in Nottingham on Tuesday 10th November 2009.
