Ethical energy supplier could cut bills for Derby residents

Council house tenants in Derby could be set to get cheaper energy bills after Derby Homes announced a partnership with non-profit energy supplier Ebico.

Ebico will be the preferred supplier for gas and electricity to all Derby Homes tenants and offers a special tariff with one flat rate per unit of energy used, 24dash.com reports.
"We provide our customers with energy efficiency advice and are always looking for new ways to help them reduce their bills," director of investment and regeneration at Derby Homes.
"Many of our tenants pay a higher tariff with their current energy supplier because they pay by key or card meter."
